Well, I am using this silly discussion as a lever to push up my English in the first place. At the same time I try to read Ukrainian from time to time. Thanks to kindness of one friendly Ukrainian once posting here, I was sent one(the IX-th) volume of Mikhailo Hrushevskij’s “ History of Ukraine-Rus”. Hrushevskij was just one of many famous men connected with Lviv. The list is extraordinarily long and includes Gen. Wladyslaw Anders as well:
