Not that heard much of optimism about Poland in your reply! in any case, there are many ways in which Poland could delelop with greater speed, and ovecome all your expectations (albeit I do not think this will happen). One way would be to join EU, that would help wouldn' it? But for this bit, poles should stabilise economy and maybe draw on resouces to gain from exports. Again that is long way to go... many years will pass before this strategy becomes reachable.
At the same time let me ask you a question, what would happen if food products from Eastern Europe got their way through to be sold in western countries, unlimited supply? You may ask why would it happen? Well, with a clever approach of polititians, Britain could gain a lot from food imports (because of recent foot and mouth problem). Every country has a business cycle which has booms and recessions, what I meant by "hope for development of Poland" was that when the boom part comes it lasts long enough to make Poland relatively DEVELOPED. Which theoretically is possible.
My approach is very simple towards these things. One has to look forward in bright future, and try to help each other, not by uniting like during Soviet Union, but in trade unions etc. which becomes impossible if country is governed by people like you, who seem to hate neighbours!
Lastly, if Ukraine were to jopin Russia, I would be very dissapoited in our Government, I hope that will not happen.
