There are some little crepes from potato, but I would not call them sweet. Well, we must have diferences too!
If you go to russia.com you can probably learn more about Russian traditions/foods as well.

Besides, do you bake pashas(eastern breads) on Easter?
My mom bakes them in coffe cans, because they are supposed to have a straight shape, The breads end up looking like big, fat, mushrooms because of that.
