Lipina is in Ukraine today, part of Volya Vysotska. This is appx 20 miles to Polish border. In examining maps I noticed that there are two hamlets (on Ukrainian side, very close to border) called Honchary and Stare Selo??? I found Stare Selo, part of Lypnyk village cluster today > Zhovkiv > Lviv > Ukraine. This is super close to Polish border.

I am having some trouble locating Honchary (Гончарi) which should be right next to Stare Selo and cannot find it??? Could the surname Hanczarz have originated in this place Honchary? Best to ask IreneLviv to take a closer look at my hunch that it just might have???
