Trillions and for what purpose?
2. Technically, we are looking over our own with Afghanistan. We are looking over our soldiers.
And about people on the streets. Many, not all, choose to live there. A shelter would be a step up, no?

Besides, I think a war between US and Russia is predicted for '10.
I think Obama knew what he was doing by doing this "too soon". Because then people will forget about it in 3 years (now 2) and he could blame health care on Bush.
