Loanwords are common in most languages. In modern times this is especially obvious when appllicable to business, medical and scientific terminology. That notwithstanding, examine the ordinary word, NORM. It is used in the same way in both English and Ukrainian, and is actually a loanword from French. Off the top of my head I can think of other words like accent, cement, career and climate. These are all loanwords from French, but have been fully incorporated into Ukrainian and English.
