The city of Kiev comes alive every year in May, to celebrate Kiev Day. Two days are set aside at the end of May, this year the 30th and 31st of May 2009, to allow the residents of the city to join in the festivities that has a carnival atmosphere and consists of music, dance, parades, food and fireworks. When in Ukraine, this is a celebration that visitors do not want to miss out on!
