Buchach – A Lesser Known but Delightful Destination
Like most towns and cities in Ukraine, Buchach is a historic town that survived war and battles. With a population of approximately twelve thousand, Buchach is not a very big tow,n but the community is close knit. Explore the Historical Mysteries of Chufut–Kale
Chufut-Kale is located in the western region of Ukraine, in Crimea, near the town of Bahchisaray and is not only a historical attraction in Ukraine but also has a significant Jewish heritage. Dating as far back as the tenth century, Chufut-Kale and its few remaining buildings have survived as a monument to the past, a reminder of forgotten communities and is one of the most visited attractions in Crimea.

Eski-Kermen – A Magnificent Reminder of the Past
“Not far from Mankopia is a certain very ancient fortress and town, but it does not have any name from the Turks or Tatars, not even from the Greeks themselves, because of its extreme antiquity…" These are the words that were written down in the sixteenth century by Marinus Broniovius and refer to the majestic site of Eski-Kermen. The Tartars decided to named it Eski-Kermen, which means “The Old Fortress”, recognizing the significance of the site.
